What is MAKE?
MAKE at Dumbreck Stables are outdoor art workshops for your mini creatives. With homeschooling being such a huge part of children's lives at the minute we aim to provide workshops to encourage creativity and mindfulness. ☀️🌈
In small groups we will guide your youngsters through an hour long mini-project, teaching them new skills and allowing them to express themselves. We will embrace nature and allow it to inspire the little artists just as we have been inspired by our beautiful location, Dumbreck Stables located in Pollock Park. 🌿
Due to covid regs parents/guardians can not participate (oh what a shame, a whole hour to yourself😉).
Meet MAKE.
Hiya Finni and Rachael here,
We’ve been friends and flatmates since 2016, when we enrolled at the Glasgow School of Art (we both graduated in 2020 🎨). This is our first creative collaboration! We are so excited to teach young minds how to express themselves creatively, especially at this current time when it’s most needed and most beneficial.
Hi, I’m Finni, I’m 22 and from Liverpool (my school was on Penny Lane LOL). I studied Interior Design and loved it so much I’m now continuing with my masters. I am the oldest of 5 kids and was always the neighbourhood babysitter. For the past 8 months I have been looking after Fintry (Claire's daughter). Claire started @outdoorplaybarn and I have worked there since it opened.
Hey, I’m Rachael, 23, from just outside Belfast and I studied Fashion Design. My interest in art stems from my childhood sewing, knitting and weaving with my grandmothers. I can’t wait to pass on these childhood experiences in our workshops as they have been extremely formative for me!
